Pride & Prejudice But Make it Astrology
Spoiler Alert: The tension between Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy? Written in the stars.
Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a good week so far!
It’s the 20th anniversary of Pride & Prejudice (the 2005 film with Kiera Knightley) and it’s officially back in theaters for this week only.
And as an author and astrologer, I had to bring out my cosmic lens for this. So I created fictional birth charts for Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy. And of course, I had to explore their cosmic compatibility too. There are no birth dates in the book for the characters so I came up with a birth day and time!
I always find it so fun to create fictional birth charts for characters—it’s something I do for author and screenwriter clients on a limited basis, and also something I always do for my characters whenever I’ve written a fiction book (I even make charts for my nonfiction astrology books too for launch day magic).
Creating character charts gives you a detailed archetype to reference, which is so helpful when writing!
So let’s get into the charts…
Elizabeth Bennet
Sagittarius Sun: Witty, curious, freedom-loving. Speaks her truth, even when it burns.
Virgo Moon: Emotionally observant, self-contained, a sharp judge of character.
Aries Rising (Mars-ruled): Bold, impulsive, magnetic. Makes a strong impression—and doesn’t back down.
Mars in Aquarius (Chart Ruler): Independent in action, unconventional in desire. A rebel heart who won’t fall for anyone who doesn’t respect her mind.
