Happy Wednesday, friends! And happy Scorpio season! Scorpio season is on of my favorite astrological seasons of the year (I am a Scorpio, after all) and I can’t believe it’s already here!🖤♏️✨
From my book Cosmic Care:
In the Northern Hemisphere, Scorpio season takes place during the heart of fall, making the sign a representation of the essence of autumn. When Scorpio season rolls around, we continue to see transformation in the trees. The leaves are getting even more colorful and starting to fall to the ground. This is also “spooky season,” with celebrations like Halloween, Samhain, and Día de Muertos, which are all associated with death. Big themes this time of year are death and rebirth and pruning away things in our lives that no longer serve us to make room for growth.
Scorpios also share a way of thinking that resonates with me beyond just being a Scorpio. I am aware that death is inevitable, that everything and everyone has an expiration date. Nothing lasts forever. And that perspective drives my gratitude and appreciation for every moment. Despite Scorpios being able to see life for what it is, they still like to enjoy it. They like to have a good time. Scorpios know that life is precious, that every breath is a gift, and they put their hearts and souls into every moment of it.
The card for Scorpio season is The Scorpio Card (pictured above) from my new astrology deck Cosmic Magic Oracle. The keyword for this card is “Transformation.”
From the Cosmic Magic Oracle guidebook:
The leaves of autumn as they change to radiant shades of red, yellow, and amber. A butterfly emerging from its cocoon. A seed blossoming into a plant. A snake shedding its skin. Transformation is magical. And though sometimes it might feel a little nerve-racking or scary, allowing ourselves to transform and change can be a beautiful part of personal growth.
Scorpio is the sign of transformation and metamorphosis. A water sign traditionally ruled by Mars, Scorpio is symbolized by the scorpion and also the phoenix rising from the ashes—the ultimate symbol of rebirth.
The Scorpio card is here to remind you of the beauty of transformation. To let go of the past and to move forward to a brighter future. And like the phoenix, to emerge stronger than ever. To embrace your incredible power.
When you pull the Scorpio card reflect on the following:
1. In which areas of my life, if any, am I seeing change and transformation right now? And if I am not seeing any areas of change and transformation in my life, is there an area that is in need of a transformation?
2. Is there anything holding me back from the changes I would like to see in my life?
3. What can I do to take care of myself during the process of transformation?
Affirmation: I am powerful and I am able to create positive change in my life whenever I want to.
Self-Care Practice: Set aside some time to reflect on any transformation you are currently seeing in your life right now, or on any transformation you would like to see in your life. Then grab a journal and write down your reflection thoughts. In addition, try a visualization practice where you imagine the transformation you would like to see in your life right now. You can be as creative as you want with this. Using visualization in this way can be really helpful to discover a desire for change in a certain area that you might be missing. Remember, you are powerful and are capable of making any change happen that you desire.
I hope you have a great Scorpio season! Sending you so much love and good energy today and always!🖤✨
